Website to evolve more

My webmaster Deen introduced his idea on evloving the site into working faster and more stream lined so you can listen (and download at times) my music and videos quickly and easily. As soon as we start on this project I will keep you updated so you will be prepared for any *glitches* that may occur. At that time please feel free to contact me if you do come across any problems with the site. I am unsure on when this will start but I did want to give a heads up as to why I have stopped upgrading the site. When the new site is up it will also consist of links to Sub Section Podcast, tutorials ,as well as free songs and mixes to d.l.

Also at this time I have taken down my album "Genre Sessions: Trance" from iTunes due to the fact I want to go through a different company to post my songs onto iTunes and BeatPort. I was getting very little feedback from the other company (who will be nameless unless I find anything out that I think was shiesty) and I think my choices are much better for finding a distribution company that will work with me more.

I am reworking the album anyway and adding new songs/collaborations with many different producers in California. I have dropped the "sessions" concept since I am seeing the name being over used and I do not want to be apart of that bandwagon =) With that, the new album will still -mostly- be Trance (many sub genres) and I have an all Dubstep album in the wings still but I may stop the concept of making individual genres or just start infusing them in each album. Who knows... I will let the fates take me where they may.

Sub Section Podcast on iTunes

After a few weeks of trouble shooting and testing out the RSS feed to the podcast we are now on iTunes! You can now listen and/or download and listen to our show for free on your computer, smartphone, itouch, anything that can connect to iTunes. Please spread the word and rate our show (the higher the better) so we can move up into ranks and more people who love EDM in Central Cali. can then find us easier. Kinetic Distortion remix of "Motion" on BeatPort

Elvin Ong asked me to do a remix of his newest track "Motion" and I was more then happy to work on it! I decided to give it a BreakBeat twist with Trance Leads and some nice crunchy synths throughout to keep it just gritty enough. Add a bit of Glitch'n that I loooove and you have a nice and yummy BreakBeat/Trance fusion that I don't hear enough of now a days.

Sub Section PodCast on the air... errrr, Internet.

MC(s) Wanted

I am currently working on 15 original Dubstep tracks and need an MC (or more then 1) to drop some knowledge and add some flavor to my music. I am open to ideas but for the most part the songs are already laid out and you will need to work around them. For some songs I may just use snippits of your vocals, it all matters on where our muses take us.

I prefer a local, but I am open if you have the skills to speak to the people. I am also looking for someone who can be a great frontman for live shows as well.

I do not want ghetto rap, club style is fine for a few songs, but for the most part I am looking for deep lyrics. I will be posting the songs on here and my myspace site soon so you can get a better idea of the styles I am using.

Welcome!

Welcome to my updated website! I will be able to dig deep and change things around on my own so I can keep up with updates much better. Please be patient the next few weeks as I experiment with different things.

I have updated my album "Genre Sessions: Trance" which is now on iTunes! You can purchase any of the songs in my album in the Store page. The mp3 versions are already up on my site here as well as a remix of "As The Desert Dawn Breaks" by Q-Burns Abstract Message (check out the Music page) as well as on  myspace.com/KineticDistortion.

I have also uploaded all 10 of the original videos from the album "Genre Sessions: Trance". You can check them out in the Video page.

On another note, I started a newsletter. It will be a monthly e-mail with Updates, Contests, Give aways, Concerts, News, maybe even a little Tutorial here and there for you budding producers or dj's.

RSS Feeds Added

I have put 2 RSS (news) feeds on my site. One is on the home page with news about the "Electronic Music culture" and the other is news about "Audio Software and Hardware" in the Tutorials page. It is the most up to date news feeds available. Keep coming back to stay updated on Electronic music culture. I am going to add more feeds about new releases from producers around the world and more!
